As part of our ongoing mission to develop more environmentally-beneficial processes, we have officially become a Certified Cleanup Partner with environmental champion 4Ocean. This means that we have pledged to remove 20,000 pounds of plastic from the ocean, with the goal to earn their Plastic Neutral Certification in the future.
‘Plastic Neutrality’ means that our direct efforts to remove plastic waste from the world’s oceans, rivers, and coastlines will exceed our plastic footprint, enabling us to not only neutralize our plastic usage, but actually reduce environmental destruction in the environment.
We are so grateful for the hard work that 4Ocean does around the world to promote a 'clean ocean movement' and enabling businesses to conduct better practices for their customers and the world around us.

@Jeanette Thanks for reaching out! We’re shaping a path to sustainability by crafting packaging with less excess materials and waste. Our new packaging is made with glass and/or a higher percentage of PCR materials for far less waste, as well as more components that can be recycled. Please check with your local recycling facility to determine what types of packaging it accepts. We are always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact!

I would love to see alternatives to plastic being used to case your makeup. Or even refillable cases to reduce plastic. I like the product quality but reducing plastic is high on my priority list and has me shopping for alternatives.

I’m following Ruth’s comment on the wish for your products themselves to be microplastic free. Microplastics are now everywhere in the environment and doing a great deal of harm to the planet’s animals, fish, soils and water. Most cosmetics and creams have them. They are endocrine disruptors and can cause illnesses like cancers and autoimmune disorders when breathed and ingested by humans and all other living things.
